Kenneth is an experienced management executive with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and distribution management, having worked for global insurance institutions, with focus on marketing/ business transformation and effectiveness in area of marketing and customer relationship management
With SAS, Kenneth has supported transformation activities of FSI clients to become more customer centric using hybrid of technology and business advisory work. Provided business advisory support to help customers develop their business strategies using data driven analytics in CRM, distribution management and operational efficiency. Participated in projects involving customer analytics, operational improvements, data management, campaign management and digital transformation.
Deep expertise in database marketing, customer analytics, customer experience design/management and business advisory and as an insurance SME, Kenneth has played a pivotal role in providing technology guidance to insurers on the end to end capabilities for IFRS 17 compliance.
Kenneth holds a post graduate degree (Master of Science) in Marketing & Consumer Insight from the Nanyang Technological University Business School of Singapore
 

Connie Leung

As Regional Business Lead of Worldwide Financial Services for Asia, Connie Leung is responsible for driving thought leadership and high-level engagements with key stakeholders in the financial services industry across the Asia Pacific. Leung is also part of Microsoft’s Worldwide Financial Services group where she provides strategic direction and leadership across all aspects of the financial services sector, including banking, capital markets and insurance.

Leung has led various global initiatives around artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain for corporate banking as well as industry-wide digital transformation programs. She is also a regular speaker at industry events such as Singapore Fintech Festival, Hong Kong Fintech Festival, Hong Kong Blockchain Week, and Finance Asia.

Leung, who was named among the “25 Women Leaders in Hong Kong Fintech” by InvestHK in Oct 2018, is a veteran in the financial services sector and has more than 16 years of diverse industry experience under her belt. Her experience spans across banking and finance as well as vertical business segments such as payments, treasury and trade, technology and infrastructure, sales and management.

Before joining Microsoft in 2013, Leung was the director for payments and trade markets in Asia Pacific at SWIFT where she was responsible for leading corporate, payments and trade markets activities in the region. She has also held a series of management positions in financial and financial information services organizations including Misys, Surecomp and Fidelity Information Services.

Leung graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic with a Higher Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing. She also received an Honors Degree in Computer Science from the British Computer Society (BCS).

  • Engagement partner for one of the first IFRS17 (insurance contracts) gap analysis and impact assessment engagements in Asia in 2016, for a leading Life & General & Takaful insurance company in Malaysia, including alignment with the new IFRS9 (financial instruments) standard for their investment funds.
  • Acted as Finance Transformation Lead or IFRS conversion specialist for multiple financial services clients in Europe (UK/NL/CH), Africa (South Africa & Nigeria), South America (Argentina & Brazil) and Asia (ASEAN & GC).
